Come July 1, vehicles with illegal tints — more than 70% visible light transmittance — will be subject to a $100 parking ticket.

The funding will go toward renovations of the Valley Green Road Bridge in Wissahickon Valley Park and the Bells Mill Bridge near Morris Arboretum.

“We will continue to listen to our riders and stakeholders to ensure that our network provides equitable access for all,” SEPTA CEO Leslie Richards said.
