Television Submission Details

WHYY believes in working with the independent film community and encourages media makers to submit completed works for review.  WHYY receives many program submissions each month so please be patient and allow at least two weeks as we review your film and decide whether it is something we can fit into our local broadcast schedule.

Our television schedule is a delicate balance of national programming, budget considerations and discretionary airtime, so we may not be able to find a place for your program but will give it our full attention. Before you send your film, please review the WHYY Tech Guidelines Summary so you are aware of the requirements your program must follow to be considered for broadcast. Screeners, however, should be sent in DVD format. The WHYY Programming Department can entertain completed works only. All programs must be close-captioned by the producer. WHYY will not be responsible for this cost.

If you have questions, contact the Programming Department at programming@whyy.org.

Please note the contact information provided is not intended for program ideas or suggestions. If you have a program idea or suggestion for something you would like WHYY to air, please contact Member and Audience Services at talkback@whyy.org or 215-351-0511.

Please send your submission to:
