Eric Nixon is WHYY News’ multiplatform editor/audio, covering audio quality for WHYY’s on-air and online products.
Prior to WHYY, Eric managed the producer team and programming schedules as assistant program manager at WURD Radio, Pennsylvania’s only Black-owned talk radio station. Eric sharpened his audio editing and organization skills while climbing the ranks at WURD for the last decade, familiarizing himself with the station’s programming flow, from the daily weekday hosts to the brokered and community-based programming on the weekend.
In 2023, Eric took part in the Lenfest Institute for Journalism’s Constellation Leadership Program.
