
Maria Pulcinella is the lead digital producer for WHYY News.
Her work on WHYY News’ digital election coverage in 2022 and 2023 helped earn the station Regional and National Murrow Awards for Excellence in Innovation.
Her work has appeared on NPR, HuffPost, and VICE Media, among other outlets.
Before returning to her home city from Boston, Maria specialized in digital products and design. She is an honors program graduate of Emerson College.
Maria is highly interested in impactful, community-centered journalism and lives with her two street cats in Fishtown.
