Philadelphia is an old city with a “strong foundation,” and some business owners say Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker’s opportunity to change the economy is now.

Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker joined current Mayor Kenney to unveil her plans to shift from campaign mode to running the city.

Parker easily beat her Republican rival David Oh, in a city where registered Democrats outnumber Republicans 7-to-1.
