Multiple state prisons in Pennsylvania lack air conditioning, leaving thousands of incarcerated people at risk during increasingly common high temperatures.

Samuel Woodward, 26, was found guilty Wednesday of first-degree murder for the killing of Blaze Bernstein, who was home visiting his family in California when he went missing.

The victims, between the ages of 16 and 46, were shot while standing outside Wednesday night. Police say one is in critical condition while the rest are stable at a hospital.
