Neighboring residents gathered in support for the historically Black borough of Lawnside, New Jersey, where a resident became a victim of racist graffiti.

“We want to empower the community, and part of empowering the community is talking about our cultural traditions,” Sinta Penyami Storms said.

Nov. 21- Nov. 24: The holidays arrive in full force! Yuletide at Winterthur in Del. and Christmas Underwater in South Jersey are among the weekend highlights.

The PBS documentary series “American Masters: Renegades” features five disabled figures who made history in the arts, parental rights and civil rights.

Nov. 14–18: The Philadelphia Art Museum’s annual craft show, the Manayunk Tree Lighting and a wine festival are among weekend highlights.

"Here in Media, this is our county seat. This is the best Veterans Day parade in the region," said Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer.

“Bringing people together through arts and cultural practices is as old as humanity,” organizer Jennifer Turnbull said.

Bridging Blocks event focused on small businesses in Philadelphia, bringing together small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

“We try to make it so that you can do a little or a lot,” said one organizer. “If you have 15 minutes … if you have three hours, we'll take it all.”
