The civil rights organization has reached out to student demonstrators following the Feb. 20 incident at Quakertown Community High School in Bucks County.

The legislation comes after Upper Darby resident Parady La died in ICE custody in January.

Family members of Jose Manuel Cordova Lopez, who was detained in Lower Providence Township on Monday, are demanding accountability.

Gov. Mikie Sherrill has also signed an executive order that prohibits ICE agents from operating on state property.

A Lower Providence Township supervisor at the scene of the raid Monday said she saw “children crying, a family in shock and a home destroyed after agents broke down the door.”

An investigation led by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau concluded that Sergeant Daniel DeOrzio's actions amounted to an unjustifiable use of deadly force.

The Delaware River and Bay Authority said not approving the proposed lease agreement with aviation company Daedalus could put it at financial risk.

“I'm grieving ... but I am also angry," said La's daughter, who added that staff actively ignored her father's distress.

Officials said it happened during a routine maintenance check of a fire boat, but it's not yet known how the firefighter fell into the water.

Norristown Police Chief Michael Trail called the video alarming and concerning.

The Trump administration has previously eyed the facility in Upper Bern Township as a site for an immigration detention center.

Some local law enforcement agencies have signed 287(g) agreements with ICE. Others are doubling down on limiting cooperation with federal agents amid a nationwide crackdown.

Some lawmakers are calling for abolishing ICE in its present form.

Although Fetterman called for the immigration operation in Minneapolis to “immediately end,” he vowed to never vote to shut down the government.
