A Conversation with novelist Francine Prose

Listen

Guest: Francine Prose

FRANCINE PROSE’s new novel, Lovers at the Chameleon Club, Paris 1932, is set in Paris and Berlin in the years leading up to WWII. It’s based on the true story of a cross-dressing, race car driving Nazi collaborator named Violette Morris. She was made famous by a photograph by the photographer known as Brassai. We’ll talk with Prose about her novel in this hour of Radio Times.
