Christie to appear on ‘Ask the Governor’

Gov. Chris Christie will be back on the radio for his first call-in program of the new year.

Christie is slated to appear on the monthly “Ask the Governor” program Thursday at 7 p.m. on New Jersey 101.5 FM.

The appearance comes two days after the potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate delivered his annual State of the State speech.

Christie was criticized for focusing too much on national problems and failing to address pressing state issues, including the nearly-bankrupt Transportation Trust Fund.

Christie has been traveling around the country attending inauguration events for Republican governors he helped elect as chair of the Republican Governors Association.

He was in South Carolina Wednesday and is scheduled to travel to Iowa Friday. Both are important early-voting states.
