PennFuture: Tell us how you would cut global warming pollution

Pennsylvania is the nation’s third largest producer of heat-trapping gases, creating more global warming pollution than 101 countries combined. After long inaction, our state government is poised to take action. And you can help decide which actions we should take.

The state’s Climate Change Advisory Committee is developing a plan to reduce Pennsylvania’s heat-trapping gas pollution. The committee is compiling a list of actions to take to reduce global warming; the final list will be included in the state action plan.

While formal public hearings won’t happen until spring, PennFuture’s President and CEO, Jan Jarrett, is a member of the committee and wants to take your ideas to the committee. This is a great opportunity to help decide the future of Pennsylvania, and to protect the Commonwealth’s and the world’s environment and economy.
