“Living in the crosshairs:” a look at the lives of abortion providers

Listen 00:48:47

Guests: David Cohen, Krysten Connon, Edel Finnegan

Eight abortion doctors and clinic workers have been murdered since 1993. Abortion providers around the country often face harassment, stalking, threats of violence and vandalism from activists opposing abortion. Drexel law professor DAVID COHEN and Philadelphia attorney KRYSTEN CONNON have written a book documenting the lives of the physicians and clinical workers who provide legal abortions in this country. They come in to talk to Marty about their new book, Living in the Crosshairs: The Untold Stories of Anti-Abortion Terrorism. We’ll also hear from abortion opponent, EDEL FINNEGAN, executive director of the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia about how her organization conducts protests.
