Jill Biden, Mayor Nutter to speak at West Oak Lane get-out-the-vote rally Saturday

Three days before voters will decide whether her husband gets a second vice-presidential term, Jill Biden will speak at a rally in the city’s West Oak Lane neighborhood.

The Saturday afternoon event comes amid a get-out-the-vote push with Mayor Michael Nutter. It includes stops in West Chester, Norristown and Northeast Philadelphia.

According to a press advisory about the events, “Dr. Biden will discuss what’s at stake in this election for the American people and how the President and Vice President are moving this country forward. Dr. Biden will also encourage supporters to vote and to continue to organize their communities in these final days before Election Day.”

The West Oak Lane event is scheduled to start after 1:30 p.m. at the Organizing for America – PA field office located at 7171 Ogontz Ave.
