George Washington memorabilia is the topic of a lecture in Odessa
Depictions and other collectibles on display in Odessa celebrate the Father of our Country and the first First Lady.
The Historic Odessa Foundation presents a lecture tonight (Thursday June 23rd) as part of its exhibition, Buy George! Likenesses of George Washington and his wife Martha have been presented on everything from engraved portraits to miniature porcelain boots over the past couple of centuries. The Historic Odessa Foundation’s Bank Building has a small showcase of collectibles on display. The lecture will be presented at 7:00 p.m. by HOF’s curator Brian Miller.
