Eric Nixon is WHYY News’ multiplatform editor/audio, covering audio quality for WHYY’s on-air and online products.
Prior to WHYY, he managed the producer team and programming schedules as assistant program manager at WURD Radio, Pennsylvania’s only Black talk radio station. Eric sharpened his audio editing and organization skills while climbing the ranks at WURD Radio for the last decade, familiarizing himself with WURD’s programming, from the daily weekday hosts to the brokered and community-based programming on the weekend.
Eric is also part of the 2023 Lenfest Institute for Journalism’s Constellation Leadership Program.
