Got some spring cleaning to do? This Saturday, there will be a free shredding and e-cylcling event at the Sturgis Playground located at North Second and 65th Avenue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attendees are aked to bring any sensitive documents such as old files and tax record for shredding. They can also drop off old electronic equipment such as computers, televisions, cell phones, radios, stereos, VCRs, DVDs and much more for e-cycling.
The event is sponsored by Councilwoman Marian B. Tasco, State Representative Dwight Evans, the Philadelphia Streets Department and local community organizations.
