Red Cross of Delmarva seeks volunteers to assist in the South

The Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula is looking for a few volunteers to assist in parts of the South devastated by last week’s tornadoes.

The humanitarian and disaster relief organization seeks licensed mental health professionals and nurses who are willing to volunteer.  Volunteers must undergo a background check and take part in a simple orientation.  If interested, CLICK HERE or call 1-302-656-6620.

Already, one volunteer with the Delmarva chapter has departed for Alabama to assist in the recovery.  The Red Cross of Delmarva also open its call center, where volunteers “provide support and serve as an informational resource for those affected by the storms.”
