Democrat Elizabeth Maher Muoio sworn in as NJ’s newest 15th District Assemblywoman
A longtime local government official is the newest member of New Jersey’s Assembly.
Elizabeth Maher Muoio was sworn in Thursday to fill the 15th District seat vacated when former Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman left for Congress.
Muoio served on the Pennington Borough Council and the Mercer County Freeholder Board before taking her current job at the Mercer County economic development director.
She also serves as the chairwoman of the Mercer County Democrat Committee.
She previously worked as an aide to former Texas Congressman Jack Brooks.
