Manayunk kicks off Stroll the Street summer series [photos]

A new summer weekly event has come to Main Street in Manayunk. Dubbed Stroll the Street, the event will run on Thursdays from 5 p.m. until sundown and will feature local food trucks, artists, musicians and vendors.

Select Manayunk restaurants including Cactus, Taqueria Feliz and Winnie’s Le Bus will offer $5 appetizers and $5 cocktails. Anywhere between 15 to 20 food trucks will line up along Main Street each week. 

“We hope that more people will come out on a summer night, enjoy rest of their day, relax and have fun,” said Shannon Geddes of Manayunk Development Coorporation.
