Germantown woman celebrates 103rd birthday among family and friends [photos]
Centenarian Gracie Connor celebrated her 103rd birthday with family, friends and staffers at Germantown Home on Wednesday.
Connor was born in Virginia and worked in Philadelphia as a nurse for many years. She has been a member of the Thankful Baptist Church for over 72 years.
Connor recieved citations from Mayor Michael Nutter, Councilwoman Bass, state Rep. Kitchen. One from Governor Tom Wolf is said to be on its way.
