Burlington County’s Fall Float Festival returns Oct. 16

Looking for another great outdoor experience this season? Then head to Historic Smithville Park for the annual Fall Float Festival on Sun, Oct 16.
The free family-friendly event offers a chance to behold colorful autumn foliage while paddling on the Rancocas Creek.
A shuttle w..ill also be available to transport paddlers to the park for live festival entertainment and activities, including hayrides, a scarecrow parade, games, pumpkin picking, face painting, magic shows and s’mores treats.
Zydeco-a-Go-Go will be on hand to perform their Creole and Cajun inspired music, plus The Give and Take Jugglers will hold two “funicular circus” shows and a Rubber Duck Regatta at the day’s end.
There’s no charge to canoe or kayak, but participants are required to sign a release waiver on the day of the event. Launching takes place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
