Diaz spokesman offers six ideas that Jim Kenney should steal
Our good friends over at Plan Philly ran a post today in which Barry Caro, the communications and policy director for Nelson Diaz’s late mayoral campaign, offered up a half dozen ideas that Democratic nominee Jim Kenney could steal in support of smarter development and stronger transit.
Six of our campaign’s ideas, in particular, are things no other candidate was talking about, but that I sincerely hope our next administration adopts as its own.
While the Mayor has limited power to enact any initiative by fiat, these six ideas are all achievable with a minimum of approval or, more importantly, spending from other levels of government.
The ideas include inclusionary zoning, addressing vacant lots and pursuing an “express commuter rail to Central New Jersey and New York City.” You can read the post in its entirety via this link.
