Delaware farm products featured on new recipe cards

What to do with armloads of zucchini, or bushels of asparagus?  New recipe cards will be available at many Delaware produce stands and farmers’ markets.

The Delaware Department of Agriculture plans to make the recipe-box-size cards available free of charge.  Recipes for cucumbers, kale, spinach, squash, radishes, sweet corn, eggplant, tomatoes, carrots, blueberries, strawberries, and even jalapenos and pumpkins are highlighted.  The cards will make their debut at the Delaware State Fair in Harrington between July 19th and July 28th.  Then, they will be available at locations throughout the state.  The recipes were submitted by Delaware farms, a food writer, the Food Bank of Delaware and the Delaware Center for Horticulture.
