Baking and cars: a weekend at the Delaware Auto show

So this may not be a fair question, but we are going to ask it anyway.  Who can produce a car faster at the Delaware Auto Show, chef Dana Herbert or Fisker?

Actually, the answer is Fisker.  They do have something to show this year at the car show taking place this weekend at the Chase Center in Wilmington.  But the big hit could be the next great baker winner, Herbert.  He will put together and decorate a life sized Fiat over the next 2 days.

Slices will be sold with the proceeds going to the Blood Bank of Delmarva.  His mixing bowls contain 1,200 eggs, 1,000 pounds of flower, and 500 pounds of sugar.  When all that’s done he’ll need 500 pounds of icing to boot.

But people do go for the cars and they do have them. There are cars to honor the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise.  Or how about making its first appearance: the Rolls-Royce Ghost EWB.
