Authorities: 2 hurt when motorcycle, car collide

Two people were injured when the motorcycle they were riding on and a passenger car collided in southern New Jersey.

Authorities say the crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. Sunday in Salem.

The man and the woman on the motorcycle were thrown off the bike and ended up in the roadway. But their names and further details on their conditions were not immediately disclosed.

The car driver was not injured.

No charges have been filed, but the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
