Green Philly: The Map

From this week’s Next Great City newsletter:

Philadelphia Weekly — Green Philly: The Map

Joel Mathis of Philadelphia Weekly has used Google Maps to create what he calls a “by-no-means exhaustive list of businesses, institutions and eateries that help Philly’s environment.” They include eco–friendly businesses, significant nature sites and even places where the city’s environmentalists gather and plan to help us all reduce our carbon footprints.

The map and lists are available on their website.  Click on the markers to find out more about the city’s greenest location.  And email Joel at jmathis@philadelphiaweekly.com if there is a site you think should be noted on the map.
