2015 Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival photos

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival was held over the weekend. It featured the works of over 150 crafters and fine artists display on view on Haddon Avenue in Collingswood, NJ.

Selected by a jury each year, participating artists offer a wide array of crafts from woodworks, clay, glass, metal to works of fine arts, jewelry and hand-woven clothing. Family art activities included ceramic tile painting, sand art, silk scarf painting and many other make-and-take crafts.

In spite of the heat (Over 90 degrees) over 20 thousand people showed up at the festival in a course of a weekend. With more than a dozen restaurants to choose from as well as local food trucks guests were able to savor many different flavors while listening to live music of various genres heard throughout the town.

Sheila and Allen Goodman, organizers of the festival said their goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere where festival goers can connect with the artist and learn more about the process. “It really is a great event, I encourage everybody to come and come every year” said Sheila.
