Hour 2

There’s nothing like the perfect pizza – crispy crust, gooey cheese, just the right amount of sauce bubbling through.  We all have our own idea of the perfect pie.  Some people love thin crust while others favor deep dish or Greek-style, some like a few toppings while others eat it fully loaded.  A recent Philadelphia Magazine article on pizza got our mouths watering and started us thinking about what makes a great pizza, how you find it and can you make it at home?  This hour, the art and craft of pizza.  Guest host Maiken Scott talks with JASON SHEEHAN, food editor for the Philadelphia Magazine and PETER REINHART, author of the cookbook American Pie: My Search for the Perfect Pizza, and host of the website Pizza Quest.
