Male Sexual Abuse

Listen

Hour 1

Ken Singer

Rhett Hackett

RHETT HACKETT was sexually abused by a trusted neighbor as a child growing up at the Jersey Shore.  It wasn’t until he was in his thirties that he began to deal with the damage the abuse had wreaked on his life.  Researchers estimate that between 1 in 6 and 1 in 10 boys are sexually abused before the age of 16.  Today, we’ll talk about male sexual abuse with RHETT HACKETT and clinical social worker KEN SINGER, the author of Evicting the Perpetrator: A Male Survivor’s Guide for Recovery from Childhood Sexual Abuse.
