#innovateRT: A conversation with local tech innovators

Talk to local government officials, entrepreneurs and investors and they will tell you that things are happening in Philadelphia’s technology sector.   New tax incentives that benefit start-ups and venture capitalists who are committed to developing and nurturing them are vitalizing the City’s entrepreneurial culture.  Add to that the vibrant young talent at our universities and colleges and a relatively low cost of living and many believe that Philadelphia is an attractive place to start and develop new technology ventures.   In the second part of our week-long series on PHILADELPHIA INNOVATORS we’ll talk with folks who are at the forefront of this exciting trend.  Our guests are JOSH KOPELMAN, who runs First Round Capital, a seed-stage venture fund, BOB MOUL, CEO of Artisan Mobile, which last month changed its name from appRenaissance, and President of Philly Startup Leaders, ROSEANN ROSENTHAL, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Ben Franklin Technology Partners/Southeastern Pennsylvania, CHRIS WINK of Technically Philly.
