Repealing healthcare reform, and a fact-check

Listen

Hour 1

The House is set to resume its legislative agenda this week and first on the Republicans to to-do list is the debate and vote on legislation to repeal healthcare reform. The two-page Republican bill, “Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act,” (pdf) is expected to pass in the Republican-controlled House but fail in the Senate.   Republicans say that the law is too expensive and too intrusive.  Democrats say they welcome the debate as it will give Americans more opportunity to understand the strengths of the bill. We talk about it all with MARY AGNES CAREY of Kaiser Health News.  And we’ll get some fact-checking on claims about the law from LORI ROBERTSON of factcheck.org.
