Ballot Talks: Two freshman congressmen from PA

    Listen

    Guests: Brendan Boyle, Ryan Costello

In this edition of Ballot Talks: Marty talks with the two new Pennsylvania congressmen-elects in the Philadelphia area. Democrat BRENDAN BOYLE, who has served in the State House for five years, is the new congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 13th District, a position previously held by Allyson Schwartz. We’ll also be joined by Republican RYAN COSTELLO, who has served as chairman of the Chester County Board of Commissioners since 2011. He is taking over Rep. Jim Gerlach’s role as representative of Pennsylvania’s 6th District in the 114th Congress. We’ll hear why they decided to run for congress, what initiatives they’ll bring to Washington, and how they plan to get things done in the wake of the least productive congress in decades.
