A look at marijuana policy in the region and in Colorado

Listen

Guests: Simon van Zuylen-Wood, John Ingold

2014 was perhaps the biggest year for proponents of marijuana. Laws relating to marijuana possession and consumption have been relaxed all over the country, the most extreme example being Colorado where, in the past year, citizens over the age of 21 are able to purchase and consume marijuana recreationally. To find out how legal weed has changed Colorado, we talk with Denver Post reporter JOHN INGOLD. We’ll also take a look at the regional picture, with marijuana recently decriminalized in Philadelphia and with various legal shifts in the surrounding metropolitan area, we talk with SIMON van ZUYLEN-WOOD of Philadelphia Magazine about what these changes will mean for the Delaware Valley.
