A Circus Life: the art and history of the big top
ListenGuest: Duncan Wall
Have you ever dreamed of running off to join the circus? That’s exactly what DUNCAN WALL did. After studying the circus in Paris he became so intrigued he decided to apply to the prestigious Ecole Nationale des Arts du Cirques and, to his surprise, was accepted. Soon he was tumbling, juggling, clowning and flying thru the air on a flying trapeze. Wall chronicles his experience under the big top in his new memoir, The Ordinary Acrobat: A Journey into the Wondrous World of the Circus, Past and Present. He talks to guest host Maiken Scott about circus life, culture and history.
