Checking up on HUD, the EPA, and the Department of the Interior

We’ll get caught up on what’s been going on behind the doors of three federal agencies under the Trump administration – Housing and Urban Development, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Department of the Interior.  We start with ProPublica’s ALEC MACGILLIS, who tells us how Secretary Ben Carson is operating HUD. Then, CHRISTINE TODD WHITMAN, former EPA Secretary under George W. Bush, shares her concerns that EPA Secretary Scott Pruitt’s is burying climate science. And, we’ll end the hour with a look at Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke’s recommendations to shrink the size of s national monuments and open some protected lands to hunting, grazing, timber harvesting and oil drilling. We’ll talk with JULIET EILPERIN, Washington Post senior national affairs correspondent.
