The Capital Speakers Club is an organization founded over 65 years ago with a mission to empower women through the development of public speaking skills. Mike will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon at 11:30 am at the Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Maryland, joining past luminaries that have included Lady Bird Johnson, Alma Powell, Sheila Johnson, Austin Kiplinger, Jehan Sadat, Sharon Rockefeller, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and many others. Presentation for the Healing Garden of the Foundation of FirstHealth
The Country Club of North Carolina at Pinehurst
Mike will speak about plants and the importance of horticultural therapy; plans may change but right now it looks to be in the late afternoon – like 4:30 or 5 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oevres, Mike’s talk and a book signing. More details to come.
