Woman charged in April double murder

Delaware State Police have charged a woman with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of a Greenwood couple.  Thirty-one-year-old Christiana Evick of Delaware City was arrested Friday. She is being held without bail.  Evick is charged in the April 26 deaths of 76-year-old Harvey Cashwell and his wife, 66-year-old Carolyn Cashwell in their home in Greenwood. Police have not released the cause of the Cashwells’ deaths.  Police say Evick and her boyfriend, 32-year-old Michael Emory, had been evicted from a home owned by the Cashwells. Emory was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in their deaths in May.
