Valley Forge beats Chestnut Hill 10-0 in Roxborough baseball tournament

It was a tough game for Chestnut Hill’s team (11 year-olds division) on Sunday. This year’s Valley Forge team was especially good. In the end, Valley Forge defeated Chestnut Hill 10-0 in Roxborough. It was the first game for Chestnut Hill team in this year’s 21st Ward Junior Baseball Tournament.

The good news is it’s not over for the 11 year-olds from Chestnut Hill. They are scheduled to play Lower Merion on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. and Mt. Airy on Thursday night at 8 p.m.

The games are played at the Al Perlman Field at Harner Street & Port Royal Avenue in Roxborough.
