Two men recovering after weekend shooting in Cedarbrook

Two men are recovering from a double shooting that took place Saturday night in Cedarbrook near East Mt. Airy. 

At approximately 9:27 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report or a shooting on the 7800 block of Provident Road near Limekiln Pike. Responding officers found two victims on the street suffering from gunshot wounds.

 

The first victim, a 25-year-old male, was shot in his upper right leg. The second victim, a 27-year-old male, was shot in his torso and his right arm.

Both were transported by medics to Albert Einstein Medcial Center. Their current condition was not provided by police. 

While police spokespersons said that neither victim was able to provide officers any information on the shooter, the investigation is continuing and the victims will be interviewed once they recover from surgery.
