The community rallies behind a local woman facing health and financial challenges.
A benefit is being held tonight on behalf of a Sussex County woman facing mounting medical bills due to cancer.
The event for Barbara Arnold Bitter of Rehoboth Beach is being held at the Hotel Blue, 110 Anglers Road in Lewes from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Call 302-752-6225 to RSVP. Barbara has been very active in her community and is now battling stage-4 breast cancer. Her monthly medical bills can top $1,000.
Monday’s event includes a silent auction, door prizes, bake sale, cupcake contest and a “decadent dessert buffet.”
