Taylor Swift parody video mocks Reid’s leadership of Eagles
Sometimes the Internet produces things like videos of cats facing off against robot vacuums.
And sometimes it gives us little gifts, like the “We Are Never Gonna Win With Andy” video circulating now.
It’s a parody of Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” and it pulls no punches. With lyrics like:
I’m really gonna miss our Monday talkAnd your, funny way managing of the clock.Your stupid, play calling in the red zoneAnd all the, fourth quarter leads that you’ve blown.
director Shawn Caple and his crew of actors and Eagles fans use the song to call out Philadelphia Eagles Coach Andy Reid on his leadership — or lack thereof.
The video features a convincing Taylor Swift, Andy Reid and Swoop. And though the regular season will be over by then (and at this rate, so will the Eagles’ season), the song features one poignant lyric buried in the middle: “Every week is Groundhog Day.”
