Trolley tracks, pot holes and double-parkers can make biking miserable. For those reasons and more, Girard Avenue and the Greys Ferry Bridge top the list of the Philadelphia’s worst places to bike, according to NewsWorks partner Philadelphia Weekly.

But there are also five great places to enjoy a smooth ride.

From the Schuylkill River Trail to the Navy Yard, there are spots all over the city where riding is at its best. And anyone who’s navigated the traffic knows there are just as many where conditions are at their worst. Check out the list to see if your route makes the cut, and make your own suggestions.
