Second Cosby accuser tells jury ‘Dr. Huxtable’ humped her leg at the Las Vegas Hilton

Tearful from her first minute on the stand, Bill Cosby accuser Chelan Lasha testified on Wednesday that the comedian drugged her and humped her leg in a suite at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1986.

Lasha, the second of five women allowed to testify for the prosecution in Cosby’s criminal sexual assault retrial, was 17 at the time. She said Cosby came over for dinner with her grandparents twice before the encounter.

“It was a wonderful life,” she said of her upbringing. “A strict home. A God-fearing home.”

She said she went to the Hilton because Cosby “said he was going to help me with my modeling and there was somebody from an agency that was going to take pictures.”

His attention made her feel “special” and “validated,” she said.

Someone did take pictures, according to Lasha, and afterwards Cosby gave her what he said was an antihistamine — because she’d been sniffling — and a shot of alcohol.

Choking on her words, Lasha said she started to get woozy and “bewildered” as Cosby led her to the bed.

“I couldn’t move any more after that,” she said. Cosby lay behind her and started “pinching on my breast, and humping on my leg.”

After brief pause, she continued.

“And grunting,” she said, moaning loudly to demonstrate.

As it was happening, Lasha said she had trouble understanding how the day had taken a turn, and remembered thinking, “Dr. Huxtable what are you doing? You said you were going to help me, what are you doing to me?” She said she felt ejaculate hit her leg and passed out.

When she came to, she said her clothes were off and Cosby was saying, “Daddy says, ‘Wake up.’ ”

During her testimony, Lasha repeatedly looked at Cosby, seated at the defense table. Cosby hunched over next to one of his attorneys, Lane Vines.

Turning to him, Lasha asked, “You remember don’t you, Mr. Cosby?,” prompting defense counsel to motion for a mistrial. Judge Steven O’Neill reprimanded Lasha for speaking out of turn. He denied the motion.

Earlier on Wednesday, defense attorneys won a motion to talk about a past conviction of Lasha’s, for lying to law enforcement in 2007.

“We believe that the crime is relevant to impeaching her credibility,” said attorney Jaya Gupta.
