Rhawnhurst comic shop profiled by Geekadelphia

Unless you’re into comics or geeky collectibles, it’s likely you’ve never been to the Garden of Earthly Delights in Rhawnhurst.
Geekadelphia, Philly’s geek culture blog, made a trip there recently to see what the shop is all about: The store, owned and operated by Chuck Feldman, originally began life back in 1977 at a location on Castor Avenue as an ice cream parlor. After the initial decision was made to sell comics along side of sundaes, Feldman — who cites Superman as his favorite comic character — began to focus his business more on collectibles than frozen treats. By the 1990s, the store was dedicated to comics, coins, sport/non-sport cards and collectible gaming cards like the eternally popular Magic the Gathering. Here’s the full profile with photos.
