Psychic Dinah Wanko, owner of New Age Psychic Boutique in Llanerch, Pa., has some predictions about the economic impact of the U.S. Open on the area — and about the tournament itself. Who do you predict will win?
Dinah Wanko is a psychic. She’s the owner of New Age Psychic Boutique in Llanerch, Pa. — “The Gateway to Haverford Township.” We wondered if she had any predictions about the economic impact of the U.S. Open Golf Championship on the area. She shared her thoughts on that — and a little bit more.
Dinah, you’ve been meditating on a couple of things related to the U.S. Open, including how the region will fare economically. What did you come up with?
I have a feeling. And from what I’ve seen, from my interesting predictions from what I can feel so far, this will be a very good boost in our economy and for our area and bring in a new perspective on how business is run and what we can offer to Delaware County.
It’s that I’m able to see an aspect of a glow around our area and around our economy. Yes, I do see a lot of more smiling people around. And an uplift in the overall energy around.
You also had another vision about who will win the event.
I did meditate also to see who I would feel would win the Open as well! And it was pretty interesting. I did get, from what I could feel, a good top four of the lineup. And to be honest with you, from what I can feel, I feel that the top four is going to be Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia and Tiger Woods — with Tiger Woods winning the tournament and Sergio Garcia coming in second.

How does one come up with that feeling, that vibe?
Focusing on their names, their energies, their dates of birth helped me to pick what time frames would be good for their success around them.
Right now Tiger Woods’s energy is showing me a very positive aspect around him and around his aura. So it is showing me that he will be very successful in whatever it is that he goes to put into himself in success in business.
What’s needed for you to do your work?
A quiet place.
Is this a special skill that very few people have?
Anyone can meditate and pick up on energy. It depends on how in tune you are with your psychic ability. Everybody has one. Some people just brush it off as intuition. Other people brush it off as guardian angel. But everybody has a psychic ability. And you have to be in a quiet, calm place, relax your mind, and try to get more in touch with your spirit.
