Police seek suspect in indecent assault on SEPTA bus in Germantown

Philadelphia Police released a video on Monday detailing an indecent assault that occurred on a SEPTA bus in Germantown.

At 12 p.m. on Oct. 24, a 19-year-old female was riding SEPTA Route K bus when an unknown male offender entered the bus, sat next to her and indecently assaulted her.

When the victim exited the bus at Greene St. and Chelten Ave., the suspect followed her to the 5500 block of Greene St. where he pulled her into an alley. There, the complainant was able to escape from the offender, who ran off in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set black male with dark complexion who was wearing a multicolored striped sweater with a dark-colored shirt underneath, dark pants and dark shoes.
