PennDOT hosts two-day design workshop on I-95 reconstruction from Frankford to Allegheny

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and representatives from neighborhoods and organizations along the I-95 corridor are holding a public, two-night design workshop  to finalize design ideas for the rebuilding of the highway between Frankford and Allegheny Avenues.

The workshops will focus on integrating the Civic Vision for the Central Delaware and local community plans into the reconstruction of the highway. Some topics to be covered include connections with the waterfront, new green spaces, wall treatments,  underpasses, public art and lighting.

The 7 pm workshops will be held on May 3 and May 17 at the Skybox at 2424 Studios, 2424 E. York St., Philadelphia.
