NJ Governor Chris Christie delivers speech at the University of Delaware

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie returns to his alma mater tonight to give a speech at the University of Delaware.

The 1984 UD grad will focus on challenges facing the nation’s governors when he takes the podium at 7:30 p.m. at Mitchell Hall on the Newark campus.  Christie is the final speaker in the University of Delaware’s National Agenda series this fall, “Girding for Battle:   Political Movers and Shakers at the University of Delaware.”  Doors for tonight’s Christie appearance open at 6:30 p.m., and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Christie became Governor of The Garden State in January 2010, and recently ended speculation that he would run for the Republican nomination for President in 2012.
