Filled with much singing and dancing, “The Gondoliers” is one of the most joyous of the Gilbert & Sullivan musical comedies. Featured are two handsome, newly married gondoliers with egalitarian ideals. Confusion reigns when the Grand Inquisitor reveals that one of the two (but which one?) is the rightful King of Barataria and already married as an infant to his future queen! A temperamental chef and a cast of thousands round out this cast.
