Man kills himself after critically wounding woman

A woman is in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital after a man shot her and then later fatally shot himself outside the facility in Camden, N.J.

Camden County spokesman Dan Keashen says the woman was shot after an apparent domestic dispute early Saturday morning.

Keashen says the names of those involved have not yet been released.

The shooting happened as the woman was driving in a car with her father when she and the shooter who drove a separate car stopped and argued at Marlton Pike and Baird Boulevard, about two miles east of the hospital, early Saturday.

The man shot the woman; her father then drove her to the hospital.

Police then pulled the man over on a separate traffic violation. He drove to the hospital where he fatally shot himself.

Keashen says an investigation is under way.
